The detail is very good. I tried to use charcoal and it's harder than it sounds, but this looks great! If you have any tips please let me know.

@MELAWE - Probably the best tip I have about charcoal is to not get overzealous with how much charcoal you actually put on the paper (less is more, and it's easy to smudge around what's already there - otherwise you risk losing highlights, and charcoal is pretty difficult to erase). Also, I use darker/softer charcoal for crisp lines. Sorry if I've insulted your intelligence with really basic strategy >.>, other than that I don't really know what to tell you. How so? Not to doubt your opinion, of course, but my equine anatomy is pretty strong and I'm just confused without specifics/clarification?? Yes, I used a reference, but I can't find it anymore (didn't save it on my computer, this piece was completed at least a year ago)...

Hehe yeah, cheval arabe is the French name for the Arabian horse. Ack, I'm sorry, I probably should have posted a link to a picture of AN Arabian even if I couldn't find THE one I used. Thank you very much!!
